Mansion and surrounding lands were the property of Count Rudolf Wiener Welten. The Count was the owner of several similar settlements on Žitný Ostrov where he devoted himself mainly to horse breeding.
In 1921 the mansion and surrounding lands in Báč were bought by Dr. Gabriel Kuchta. In February 1948 the entire property was nationalized. Retirement home and then Social Welfare Institution for the mentally disabled were established while it was in the hands of State. Insensitive interventions were made not only into the overall appearance of the mansion but also the adjacent park in this period.
In 1991, the daughter of Dr. Kuchta asked for the restitution of the asset recovery. In 1996 the property was returned to their original owners.
In 2006, the owner of the mansion and the land became Welten Company which immediately began the reconstruction of the mansion, extension of premises for construction of a restaurant and building 18 hole golf course.
We hope that the reconstruction of the mansion, restaurant and golf course meet your expectations, and you will spend pleasant moments with us and become our regular visitors.
